Hidden Safes

Let's face it, there are certain things in our lives that we like to keep secret or hidden. Diversion safes can be very helpful when it comes time to store valuables or private information in your home. I am writing this article to explain how diversion safes work, describe the different types of diversion safes (can safe, hidden safe, book safe), and help you to make a wise decision when you are ready to purchase a diversion safe.

Diversion safes or hidden safes as they are sometimes called are very simple but equally as effective. They are personal safes that appear to be something else to the naked eye (i.e. Soda can, wall clock, paint can, flower pot,). Most diversion or hidden safes work in similar ways; you put the item or items inside of the safe that you would like to keep private, close the safe and put it in a discreet location so that if someone sees your safe, they would not even know it!

You must consider the size of the diversion safe when you are shopping. I would recommend that you measure whatever you would like to hide before purchasing a hide-a-safe so that you will not be in for any surprises when you receive your product. Also remember to buy a diversion safe that will blend in with the environment that you will be placing it. If you live with people who are very neat and tidy, you probably should not buy a soda can diversion safe and leave it on the living room floor because it will most likely be thrown away.

Book safes are also very popular and have been featured in several recent movies. Book safes are also very simple, they appear to be a book to someone would not know any better, but the inside is hollowed out and you can hide a variety of objects within that area.

I have been running Your Self Defense Shop for the past several years and I am happy to share the knowledge that I have gained with you. For more information on similar topics, check out http://www.yourselfdefenseshop.com/
